Letter from the Founder

Dear Friends,

I started WovenCare Advocacy Services because I know firsthand the profound impact that sudden medical trauma can have on an individual’s life. I have walked the difficult path of recovery, often feeling lost, vulnerable, and misunderstood. When your body betrays you, it is an isolating and frightening experience. The medical system can be overwhelming, and without proper guidance and support, the journey to recovery can feel insurmountable.

My personal journey began when I experienced a traumatic medical event. The physical pain was immense, but the emotional and mental toll was just as significant. Despite my efforts to find answers and support, I often encountered a lack of direction from my healthcare providers. They did not guide me to support groups or resources that could have made a significant difference in my recovery. The sense of isolation grew as those closest to me struggled to understand the length and complexity of my healing process. This lack of understanding and empathy compounded my feelings of frustration and helplessness.

It was during these challenging times that I realized the critical need for comprehensive support and advocacy for individuals facing similar circumstances. I founded WovenCare Advocacy Services to ensure that no one else would have to navigate their recovery journey alone. Our mission is to provide personalized, compassionate support to individuals with sudden traumatic injuries and the elderly, empowering them to reclaim their lives and independence.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supports WovenCare Advocacy Services. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us.

Sincerely,

Kenya Moorer
